thanksgiving feast, and i will be soo excited to bring him along when i do my christmas shopping. this season is extra special- my heart is so full of scriptures and mary oliver poems and lovelovelove. i'm also very ready to get my christmas baking underway. i want to make all sorts of lovely pastries and things... i even have plans for a homemade gingerbread house. <br />we're going <br />although working 40hrs a week is obnoxious, it's nice being able to spend all other free time with matthew. the zoo is our spot, and lately we've been working on our kite flying skills (he is actually better than me). we have plans to visit the newport aquarium soon, and there's a full list of bluegrass festivals that we'd like to attend this summer. i love that he enjoys doing the very same things i like to do. he's so lovely.<br /><br />also, i may be traveling to california to visit jill after my sister's wedding in july. i really want to make that happen. little kittens and napped in the sunshine. afterwards, we played tennis for about an hour, but we quit when we realized we just weren't very good. things get a little hazy after we had dinner with jill, but i know a bunch of us went to the lake that night and played on the swingset. <br />jill met my family on saturday. we indulged in some yumyum cobbler and birthday cake. we also had our first sleepover that night. sunday, on our way back to school, we listened to a lot of hanson and 2gether. <br /><br />today would've been perfect for a picnic with cupcakes and a game of croquet. we'll left and 1 year internship to complete a BS in dietetics...
